Motortradestationery is the online name for Kingsmead Stationery LLP, part of the Kingsmead Group. We have been printers since 1990 and specialists in stationery for the motor trade since 2001. We are authorised printers for numerous marques. Our full contact details are available here.
How can I be assured of your quality?
In the first instance, please ask for samples. We always use the exact paper and board specified by the marque brand guidelines; standard business stationery is litho printed using exact pantone matched inks to guarantee conformity and most importantly we want you to keep coming back and so we make quality a top priority!
Why are your prices so keen?
Two words. Volume and efficiency.
Why are guidelines so important?
The marque will spend vast sums on national advertising. By accurately reflecting the style of this advertising you will receive maximum benefit from your official association with the marque. Using incorrect or out of date stationery will confuse the customer about your true status as THE official dealer in your area.
Is there a minumum order?
Yes. For business cards it is uneconomical to purchase less than 250 cards. Other items of stationery each have their own economic minimum quantity which is shown on the price lists..
How quickly can I have my stationery delivered?
Except in exceptional circumstances, business card orders received by 2.00pm will be despatched the same day; other orders will be next working day. Other standard stationery items will be despatched within 5 working days.
How is my stationery despatched?
Most orders are despatched with a trackable next day courier. Courier deliveries will require a signature. Small orders of business cards are despatched by First Class mail, which cannot be tracked. We will let you know when we despatch business cards and if you have not received them within 3 days of despatch please let us know.
Can I have samples ?
We have printed samples of all standard stationery items set with a fictitious address so that you can see both layout and the quality of the print and the paper/board that we use.
What happens if I am not satisfied
If you have any problems with the stationery delivered please let us know as soon as you receive it. Where the problem is with the quality of print, damage during delivery or errors in typesetting by we will reprint and replace as a matter of urgency at no cost. Unfortunately if the error is a result of the typesetting information in the original order being incorrect or if a proof has been provided and agreed that subsequently is found to be wrong we will reprint but will have to recoup our costs, which will be something less than the original order.
Can I have multiple dealerships?
The website allows you to set up a group of dealerships either as entirely separate entities, as separate dealerships with separate delivery and invoicing but centralised reporting, or with separate delivery but centralised invoicing and reporting.
Can I have several different marques?
You can attach several marques to a single location or you could set up several dealerships within a group, each with different marques. The system is flexible enough to deal with just about any arrangement that you might need.
Can I authorise other people to buy for my dealership?
Each dealership has a “main buyer” with access to the whole of that dealership’s business. However other people can be given full or limited access as well. You could set it up so that if there are a group of dealerships different people can order for each location or it could be set up so that within a single location different people can order business cards and stationery.
How do I pay for my stationery?
Once you are approved as a user you will be invoiced for any orders on despatch on our standard 30 day terms. For full terms and conditions click the link at the foot of the page.
Will I receive a proof?
If you are ordering a standard item of stationery you will receive a proof the first time that you order that item but not if you reorder unless you ask for amendments or have changed your dealership details. If you are ordering a standard Business card you will not receive a proof and your cards will be set according to the corporate identity guidelines of the marque you are ordering.
What if I want a special item of stationery?
Call 01372 459678 and talk to us! As well as standard items we can design and print special items as well. We will take notice of corporate identity guidelines in the design of any special stationery but the final decision as to the design will be the responsibility of the individual dealership. will remain price competitive on special stationery but will have to make some charges for design and will not be able to bring the economies of scale and the efficiency that comes with it that we can apply to standard stationery. Quotes will be provided before any special stationery job is undertaken.

How do I get started?
The website is very poweful yet extremely simple to use. The following 3 steps should only take 5 minutes and will allow you to create a total online management system for all your stationery needs.

The initial step is to register. On the upper panel enter your name and usual email address and create a password. You then need to create a unique group name for your business. This name will encompass all marques and locations that you operate which you will define later

When you click to register you will receive a confirmation email which you will need to click on to verify your account

Once registered, log in using your email address and password and you will be taken to your account home page. From here you can create the locations that you operate and also add additional users.

You don’t currently print for my marque – will this be available soon?
We only publicise those marques that we have the current corporate guidelines for. If we are not currently advertising the marque that you are interested in please talk to us on 01372 459678 and we will happily approach the marketing department of that marque to obtain the guidelines and provide you with the quote for the job. We have tried to get guidelines for as many marques as possible but it is always easier when we have a live enquiry.
Do you do any other type of printing?
As well as we are commercial printers with a range of B3 litho presses from single to 5 colour. This makes us competitive for a range of print beyond stationery including leaflets and brochures, cards and invites etc etc. If you want the Encyclopaedia Britannica or 30 million election flyers printing or an A0 billboard poster we probably aren’t for you, anything in between we would be delighted to quote on. My boss has just said that they need more business cards by tomorrow morning – can you help?
We will try! Our standard delivery times are orders received by 5.30pm will be despatched next working day. But if you need a really quick turnaround and contact us early enough in the day we will pull out all the stops for a same day despatch, and with the possibility of premium timed early deliveries by our couriers we probably could get you cards tomorrow morning.
